• Next-level performance, aerodynamics, and safety engineered by Tatuus Racing

UAE, December 15, 2025 – Formula Regional Middle East Trophy (FRME) teams are set to make history as the first in the world to take delivery of the all-new Tatuus T-326, the second generation of Formula Regional cars. The cars will arrive at Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, ahead of the 2026 season launch next month.

“Formula Regional Middle East is proud to be the global debut platform for the new Tatuus T-326,” said Davide de Gobbi, General Manager of Top Speed, the series promoter. “The Middle East once again becomes the motorsport spotlight, and our international teams and drivers are perfectly positioned to showcase the capabilities of this innovative new race car.”

Developed by Tatuus Racing with intensive engineering and testing, the T-326 is a major leap forward from its predecessor, the T-318, which launched the careers of FRME alumni such as Kimi Antonelli, Isack Hadjar, and Liam Lawson.

Fully compliant with current FIA regulations, the T-326 delivers:

  • Enhanced performance and stability – a re-engineered chassis and updated suspension ensure sharper steering and better balance through corners.
  • Advanced aerodynamics – inspired by top-tier single-seater competition, the new bodywork increases downforce while reducing wake turbulence, improving overtaking and racing quality.
  • Innovative engine technology – the ATM163T, developed by ATM-Autotecnica Motori in collaboration with TOM’S, is Formula Regional’s first three-cylinder power unit. Based on the Toyota G16E, it offers a unique combination of performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Next-generation safety and inclusivity – crash boxes, anti-intrusion panels, and a reworked roll-over protection system meet the latest FIA safety standards. The cockpit has been ergonomically optimized for a wider range of driver physiques.

The 2026 FRME season kicks off on January 16 at Yas Marina Circuit, spanning four stops and 12 races, and concludes on February 13 at Lusail International Circuit in Qatar.

The Tatuus T-326 signals not just a technical evolution, but a strategic milestone for Formula Regional in the Middle East, reinforcing the region as a hub for high-level motorsport and automotive innovation.
